Papa Boots and Grammy

Shortly after my parent's visit we were honored to have my in-laws in town for a visit! Grammy and Papa Boots is what Libby and Gracie call them. Grammy is high-energy, full-on fun! Papa Boots is the best baby carrier in all of history. Needless to say, the girls had a blast with their grandparents. We practically had Christmas after Grammy did a little shopping for the girls. We enjoyed meals, Gruene, antique shopping, walking around the J.W. Marriott resort, puzzles and game time. Grammy taught Libby how to play Uno and Battleship! One of the toys she bought Libby was a wooden shoe she could use to learn how to tie a shoelace. Just a few days after Grammy left town, Libby practiced her little fingers making bunny ears and mastered the shoe tying skill! Gracie was given a cute little car and she absolutely loves scooting around the house and finding things to hide in the seat of the car. I've found sippy cups, paci's, shoes.... you name whatever you think I might really need to find quickly and that's where I've very slowly learned to look.

We also celebrated Winky's (Grammy's) birthday. Winky loves the way Billy grills salmon so we had a salmon and salad birthday dinner followed by a special gift. I always love the way Winky reads every birthday card with pure delight.

So, I'll type less and share the photos from our special time together:

Sounds like an awesome visit with Grammy and Papa Boots! What a blessing for your girls to have 2 sets of doting grandparents. Doesn't get much better than that!
Praying that Keemberlie would be able to come home soon. So hard to wait.
Also praying for a full restoration of your voice, Cindy.
Love and hugs and prayers,
Debi
