Geography
Words/Music: Cindy Foote
(c) Poetic Present Songs 2010
verse 1:
That's where you are from
The coastal city of Xu Wen
Newspaper's been telling me
The day of sweet discovery
A miracle on Second Hong Qi Road
chorus:
Geography, never mattered much to me
Til gravity changed my course
Now I'm studying the land and seas
With my children from all around the world
In San Antonio
verse 2:
That's where you are from
The very heart of Africa
Biography's been telling me
The story of a baby
Prophetically born in Hosanna town
chorus:
Geography, never mattered much to me
Til gravity changed my course
Now I'm studying the land and seas
With my children from all around the world
In San Antonio
Verse 3:
That's where you are now
An island in Atlantic Sea
Tragedy's been happening
But better days are coming
For you at 17 Laboulle Road
You're coming home!
Geography's been telling me tonight
Distance is ready to loose the fight.

Hi Cindy;
I enjoyed your guest post ...how true and what a good reminder for me, as we are waiting on God to show us where He wants us to go to our newest addition. Waiting, trying not to get ahead of Him.
thanks again.

I left a comment over there but had to just say thank you here also!! You have no idea what a blessing your post was!! How the Lord has been showing me that I have been so wrong in this area of idolatry and not putting Him first!! You are such a blessing and I will be praying for your journey to Keemberlie!!
I love this! Such beautiful words! My daughter is also from Hosanna! :o)
